Bindings stay intact.
Overhead scanning captures pages with the book open, without cutting off the spine or pressing it against a flatbed. We assess how safely each volume can be handled.

A collection worth opening up
Books, journals, manuals and institutional collections all hold knowledge worth making accessible.
Please discuss rare or fragile material before sending it. Suitability is assessed individually.
Useful to know
Our book-scanning service is designed to keep bindings intact. We assess condition, size and opening angle before agreeing the approach. Please flag fragile, rare or tightly bound items so we can discuss their suitability.
We can discuss an onsite arrangement or a send-in project. Feasibility depends on location, the collection, access and equipment requirements. We agree logistics with you before any material moves.
PDFs are the starting point. Searchable PDFs, extracted text, images and structured indexes can be included in the agreed scope. We confirm naming, organisation and delivery method before scanning.
OCR quality depends on the print, language, layout and condition of the original. Handwriting, faint pages and complex tables need particular care. A representative sample helps us agree what is realistic and how much review is needed.
A better way to work with your collection
The value is in what your team can do after digitization.
Locate a passage in searchable PDFs instead of working through shelves and folders by hand.
Use a digital copy for everyday reading and reference, reducing the need to repeatedly handle originals.
Organise and share agreed files through your own systems, with access managed by your organisation.
