These terms apply to the Digiarch website, which describes digitization services offered by the team behind Hokma. Please use the site responsibly and contact us if you need clarification. Actual scanning, OCR, processing and AI projects require a separate agreed scope or service agreement.
2. Enquiries and project agreements
Sending an enquiry does not make a booking, guarantee availability or create an obligation to buy. Pricing, taxes where applicable, timing, deliverables, transport, handling, quality criteria and payment arrangements are confirmed in the project agreement before work begins. The website does not collect payment.
3. Your material and permissions
Before providing material for a project, you must have the necessary rights or permissions to have it digitized and processed for the intended use. Please tell us about copyright restrictions, confidential content, personal information and physical handling limits. Do not send originals or sensitive documents before we agree how they will be received and handled.
4. Scanning, OCR and AI
The suitable scanning method depends on the original’s condition, size and binding. OCR accuracy varies with language, print quality and layout; handwriting and complex material may require additional review. AI-generated or extracted information may be incorrect. Any validation requirements, specialist handling and fitness for a particular use must be agreed as part of the project.
5. Your documents and our website
An enquiry does not transfer ownership of your documents to Digiarch. Rights to project files and permitted processing are addressed in the project agreement. The Digiarch name, website design and original site content belong to their respective owners. You may not misuse them or copy content beyond what applicable law permits.
6. Responsible website use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access, submit malicious code or use the enquiry form for spam or unlawful material. Provide accurate contact details so we can respond to your enquiry.
7. Availability and external links
We aim to keep website information useful and current, but information may change and the website may sometimes be unavailable. External links, including links to Hokma, lead to independently governed services. Check their terms and privacy policies when you use them.
8. Project changes and cancellations
Requests to change scope, reschedule or cancel work should be sent to your project contact. Charges, refunds, return logistics and any work already completed are governed by the agreed project terms and applicable law. No standard refund or turnaround promise is made by this website.
9. Applicable rights
Nothing in these website terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Project-specific legal terms, including the contracting party and any agreed jurisdiction, are set out in the relevant service agreement.
